Dhaka-(UNB) - Konabari MA Quddus High School earned a hard-fought one wicket victory over Manarat International School in the 19th National School Cricket Tournament at the City Club ground yesterday (Wednesday). Batting first, Manarat scored a fighting 210-run for five wickets in the stipulated 35 overs. In reply Konabari reached the winning target of 211 runs for nine wickets with one ball to spare. At the Mirpur Outer Stadium, Saint Joshep High School earned a comfortable 52-run win against Kamalapur Railway High School. Kamalapur Railway High School were all out for 145 runs in 23 overs chasing Saint Joshap’s 197 runs for all in the fixed 35 overs. Motijheel Colony High School defeated University Laboratory School by 43 runs at the Polytechnic Institute ground. Motijheel School made 135 runs for all in 28.1 overs while University Lab were bundled out for 92 runs in 25 overs. At the Dhanmondi Club ground, Green Herald School beat T&T High School by two wickets. Batting first, T&T High School scored respectable 221 runs for all in 34.5 ovrs. In reply, Green Herald made 224 runs for eight wickets in 35 overs. |
